When it comes to filmmaking, director S S Rajamouli is known for his attention to detail and he strives for perfection in everything. And now that he is helming a magnum opus in the form of ‘Bahubali’ it is heard that he is going for nothing but the best. He is being strongly supported by producer Devineni Prasad in this attempt.The news now is about Rajamouli’s hunt for an actress who will fit the role of mother of Prabhas and Daggubati Rana acting as siblings in the film. For this, the names of Sridevi and Sushmita Sen have been considered since it is going to be a trilingual. Buzz is that the duo has listened to the script and is impressed.
However, both are reportedly quoting Rs 1 crore for the role. The budget of the film is Rs 70 crores and it is heard that the mother’s role will be very crucial. Inside talk says Sridevi might be the best bet for the makers since she is versatile and has a Pan Indian presence. Let us wait for the official announcement on this one.
