Jr Ntr Biography

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao or Jr. NTR(born May 20, 1983 in Hyderabad) is an Indian actor in Tollywood. He is grandson of late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, whom he was named after.

Jr.NTR was born to Harikrishna Nandamuri and Shalini and raised in Hyderabad. NTR went to Vidyaranya School in Hyderabad and later to St. Rakesh's Jr. College. He has 2 brothers KalyanRam and JanakiRam(both part of Tollywood) and a sister.

Jr Ntr Filmography

Jr. NTR started off by acting in child artist in BalaRmayanam directed by Gunashekar and produced by MS Reddy. His debut film was Ninnu Choodalani. The film did not do well at the box office. Consequently, he rose to fame with Student No. 1 and Subbu. His next film Aadi became one of the best films in his career.

In January 2003, NTR's Naaga did not meet the viewers expectations, even though it was produced by one of India's finest producers, A.M. Ratnam. However, in July 2003, his hit flick Simhadri became the biggest grosser of the year and in his career.

His next filmsAndhrawala, Samba, Naa Alludu, and Narasimhudu all did either badly or average at the box office. However in 2006, his film Ashok had the biggest opening week gross in his career but did not appease his fans.

His next film, Rakhi is currently shooting and is slated to release on December 22, 2006.
